On October 10, a coastal cleanup campaign was held in Bilgah, organized by the IDEA Public Union with the support of PASHA Group. The event, held within the framework of the “Year of Solidarity for a Green World”, took place on a public beach.

In addition to IDEA volunteers, more than 250 participants took part in the cleanup, including over 170 employees from companies managed by PASHA Holding and PASHA Management Company, as well as students from LANDAU School. The participants, equipped with necessary sanitary supplies, collected nearly 2 tons of waste, which was then transferred to the Balakhani Solid Waste Sorting Plant operated by “Təmiz Şəhər” OJSC.

The primary goal of the campaign, held under the slogan “Keep the Shores Clean!”, is to promote cleanliness along the coast, prevent the pollution of coastal areas with household waste, and engage the public in efforts to protect the marine environment. To safeguard the unique biodiversity of the Caspian Sea and other water bodies in the Caucasus region, IDEA regularly conducts cleanups and restoration efforts in polluted coastal areas.
