PASHA Holding invites experienced candidates to fill the position of Strategy and Performance Lead.
Job description:
- Assist direct manager in setting strategy content and aspirations for the Group Corporate Banks and Insurance companies (Strategic Assets - SA) by suggesting objectives and KPIs (key performance indicators).
- Challenge and consult Strategic Assets’ senior management in strategy content and ensure alignment between Corporate Center, Corporate Banking and Insurance Business Group (BG) and SAs.
- Raising red flags during execution in case of lagging strategic performance of SAs to support manager in intervening to targets and/or emerging strategic threats/opportunities.
- Manage preparation of periodic strategic and performance reports for manager.
- Identify and validate KPIs to accurately measure annual performance of SAs against their mission and strategic priorities.
- Responsible for understanding the root causes of critical issues and any deviation from strategic aspirations set initially and escalation to management level.
- Contribute to annual budgeting process and ensure the quality and timely preparation of budgets of SAs and BG.
- Monitor the banks and insurance companies’ regulatory agencies for potential and actual changes which may affect the banks and/or insurance companies’ business needs;
- Participation as a member in different committees across PASHA Holding’s banks’ and/or insurance companies
- Build and lead proper communication with senior management of SAs.
Experience, Competencies and Skills Required:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Strategy or Business Management fields;
- 5 years of professional experience in banking, insurance or other related financial sector;
- Upper-intermediate knowledge of Azerbaijani, English, Russian and Turkish languages;
- Strong analytical, problem solving skills, presentation and interpersonal communications skills;
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- CFA, FRM certification is preferable.
