Job description:
- Integrating risk management considerations into the overall group wide strategy formulation process.
- Ability to identify and assess risks that may impact the group's performance, reputation, and financial stability.
- Provide a senior escalation point for complex technical queries, ensuring their effective and commercially sound resolution.
- Take a key part in coordinating risk management processes across the group, facilitating effective communication and collaboration between banking and insurance companies.
- Participate in discussions of Supervisory Board risk committees and credit committees and share his or her insights and expertise.
- Engaging with key stakeholders and decision-makers and be trusted advisor to top-management.
- Translate knowledge of the business, best practice regulatory standards and frameworks into risk management implications.
- Lead and manage group-wide strategic initiatives and projects such as ICAAP process, stress testing, RHI (group wide internal risk maturity and assessment tool) and setting groupwide Risk Appetite Statement limits.
- Supervise and lead a team of skilled and motivated risk professionals.
Experience, Competencies and Skills Required:
- At least Bachelor degree in Finance/Banking and related fields;
- At least 7 years of relevant industry experience;
- Previous experience in a leadership role of risk or control function;
- Strong communication, negotiation skills and problem solving skills;
- Strong analytical thinking and good statistics knowledge;
- FRM or CFA certification is an advantage.
