As reported, PASHA Holding is organizing the InMerge Innovation Summit. The opening of the summit took place on November 30. During the opening ceremony, Chief Executive Officer of PASHA Holding, Jalal Gasimov, greeted the event participants and talked about the main purpose of the summit, as well as the importance of this summit for our country and the region.
"Supporting the innovation ecosystem in our country and region is one of our main priorities. I think that the current summit will make a great contribution to achieving this goal," said Jalal Gasimov, CEO of PASHA Holding.
Thus, the summit aims to bring together leading individuals and companies in the field of technology, as well as innovation-oriented startups in Baku, to create an opportunity for them to have professional discussions, exchange ideas and experience, and thus support the formation of the innovation ecosystem in the country and region.
On the first day of the event, Minister at the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev, First Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Economy Elnur Aliyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahmar Movsumov and CEO of Trendyol Group of Companies Erdem Inan were also on stage for the opening of the summit. Their performance was followed by Steve Wozniak's performance, which excited everyone. He covered his school engineering achievements, meeting Steve Jobs, and stories from the early days of Apple.
Additionally, "PASHA Holding" gathered participants from different countries of the world in financial technologies and telecommunications verticals, as well as trainings. One of the important events that took place within the framework of the summit was the signing of the "Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation for the Development of Innovation and Startup Ecosystem in the Republic of Azerbaijan". The Memorandum was signed by Farrukh Aliyev, Head of the Innovations at "PASHA Holding", Fariz Jafarov, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) under the Ministry of Economy, Elnur Nasibov, Chairman of the Education Development Fund under the Ministry of Science and Education, Inara Valiyeva, Chairman of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and Kanan Najafov, Vice President of SOCAR.

Today is the second day of the biggest innovation summit of the region.
