With the support of PASHA Holding, a new social enterprise has been launched in the village of Göylər, Shamakhi district, as part of the "Support for Social Development of Single Mothers" project.
The second phase of the project, implemented through a joint initiative by PASHA Holding, the State Employment Agency, the Shamakhi District Executive Authority, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency, and the "Social Integration of Orphanage Graduates" Youth Public Union, led to the establishment of this new enterprise.
With support from PASHA Holding, selected participants were enrolled in vocational training organized by the State Employment Agency and equipped with the necessary production tools. The primary goal of the enterprise is to prevent single mothers from placing their children in state-run child institutions, improve their social welfare, and create sustainable employment opportunities. The project also aims to strengthen the active participation of single mothers and low-income families in social life, support them in planning and coordinating economic and social initiatives, and foster the development of entrepreneurial activities.
Notably, under the first phase of the project, the number of employees at the existing social sewing enterprise in Shamakhi district increased from 10 to 18. As a continuation, the new enterprise in Göylər village is expected to provide jobs for 20 people, with the ultimate goal of ensuring permanent employment for up to 100 women across the district.
